The Epi Info™ Cholera Outbreak Tutorial
The Cholera Outbreak in Rwenshama course uses a case study based on an actual investigation of an outbreak of cholera in Uganda. The Epi Info software is used as a tool to perform data entry and analysis activities commonly encountered in an outbreak investigation. More >>
This tutorial replaces the Epi Info course material (Obstetrics) previously available on this website.

This course teaches Epi Info™ within the framework of a Community Health Assessment. Beginner and Intermediate students will learn to create a survey, enter data,
and analyze the results. Graphing, mapping, and presentation methods are also covered in this comprehensive overview of Epi Info™. Advanced students will benefit from the Intermediate Analysis
lesson, which focuses on data management and uses data readily available in epidemiologic work from sources such as the United State Census Bureau and the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance
System (BRFSS)
